Dryer vent cleaning

The one that actually starts fires.

Lint packs into the run behind the dryer until the heat has nowhere to go. It is a short job, it is not expensive, and it is the one most people forget until the clothes stop drying in one cycle.

Ground level vents only.Ground level only. We do not do roof vents or anything twenty feet up. If yours comes out of the roof, we are not the right call and we would rather tell you now than turn up and charge you for the trip.

What it costs.

Flat prices, same as everything else here.

Doing both at once is the cheap way

Getting the dryer vent done alongside your ducts saves $60, because the van is already outside and the gear is already out. Price your ducts.

The questions we get.

How do I know mine needs doing?

Clothes taking two cycles to dry is the usual first sign. So is the top of the dryer running hot, a burning smell when it is going, or lint showing up around the outside vent flap. If it has been a few years and you have never had it done, it needs doing.

Why does it matter?

Lint is extremely flammable and a blocked run traps the heat that is meant to leave the house. Beyond the fire risk, a clogged vent makes the dryer work far harder than it needs to, which costs you in electricity and in the life of the machine.

What if my vent is on the roof?

Then we cannot help, and we will say so on the phone rather than after we arrive. Roof and high level vents carry too much liability for a three person crew, so we stick to what we can do properly and safely from the ground.

How long does it take?

Usually under an hour on its own. If we are already at the house doing your ducts, it adds very little to the visit.

Short job. Worth doing.

Ground level vents, a flat price, and an honest answer about whether yours needs it at all.
